About Valinda Miracle

While recovering from a serious automobile accident in which she sustained a traumatic head injury, Valinda Miracle, a bright, ambitious woman, realized that her promising career in real estate was over.

Turning to creative outlets as therapy for stimulus to her short-term memory, she tried her hand at being a potter.  The results are obvious, and pottery remains her main love and endeavor.

After a season of severe health problems, complications and a near death experience, she was drawn to painting with oils.  Valinda was awakened in the night with a vision of the painting to the right.  She feels the painting has a two-fold meaning:  Turning water into wine was the first miracle performed by Christ and now He is preparing for the great wedding celebration.

In, “Outpouring,” Valinda believes the painting speaks for itself.  While speaking with a blind man, she was allowed to see the man’s vision before he lost his sight.  When the painting was completed, his sight was restored and he is now able to see this work in living color.

Valinda has been divinely inspired with the visions she has placed on canvas, also leading her to paint life-sized murals.  She sincerely hopes that you, too, are blessed as much as she has been—and continues to be—with this inspirational series.

An Amazing Journey
(Email to Valinda from Susan Chappetta)

My Husband and I had an amazing journey that I would like to share with you since you were an important part of it.  It was Good Friday and we were on the road traveling from Tennessee to Florida.  We had been following Holy Week in our Bible and reading a daily devotion together "Sparkling Gems"  which was following Easter week as well.  On Thursday my husband said that we should take communion together I agreed but it did not happen Thursday night.  As we were driving I said that it would be cool if we could find some place off road and take communion together.  He agreed and I added that a waterfall would be nice.  We drove for several hours when he sat up from a nap and said he had to find a bathroom, at that moment I looked up and saw your interstate sign Miracle Pottery so I exited there and after using the restroom I asked if we might venture up the road and find the pottery store as it was my daughters birthday and I was looking for a large planter to give her as a gift.

We found your place and enjoyed all of the many pieces I was overwhelmed and very much impressed.  I took a few pottery lessons and love the whole process especially the finished, usable piece.  I wanted to buy it all!  A communion set caught our eye and bought it to have at home to keep in our china cabinet and to have if we wanted to have communion as a family.  As we paid and left my husband asked if there was a good place to eat in the area.  We were directed to the Wildflower cafe.  It was delightful.  As we paid we asked our waiter if there was any waterfalls in the area. Yes, he informed us and directed us to Desoto falls.  We were amazed.  We live in New Orleans and we would be hard pressed to find a waterfall "just around the corner"  we didn't look at a map or an area view we totally believe God heard us and set the table and ambiance for our time together.

My heart has been so heavy as I have been walking through cancer with my best friend of 32 years and
her time here is getting shorter and shorter.  The heaviness is gone because I KNOW that my God lives
and he hears us and cares for each of us.  My time at the falls was Healing reign.  I sent you a picture.
